Cocoon House provides short-term, emergency housing to youth, 13-21 years old. Our two emergency shelters for teens ages 13-17 shelters are located in residential neighborhoods in Everett and Arlington, WA. Our short-term transitional shelter for older youth ages 18-21 is located in Monroe, WA.
At Cocoon House we try to have fun! Sometimes we go on field trips. If we are at home, we play games, do arts and crafts, talk to each other, listen to music... basically hang out. Staff are on shift 24 hours and are easy to talk to. It's not as scary as you might think it will be, and it is a very safe place to be.
