Welcome to the Wings Partner Page

Please look below for information to find emergency shelter and other resources.

How to find help:

If you are between the ages of 12-17 and in need of emergency shelter here is everything you need:

    • Please call East to answer a short list of screening questions. These questions are about your current circumstances, as well as your guardianship. Part of this process typically requires that the youth has a parent or guardian consent to the shelter stay. East will be able to handle this communication if you provides them with contact information. If this makes you uncomfortable, East staff can work with you.

    • Ask the youth if they have any friends, family, or support persons who can transport them to East

    • Help them to navigate public transportation.

      • Community Transits Trip Planner may be helpful: www.communitytransit.org/plan-my-trip

      • Youth 18 and under can ride on Public Transit for Free

      • If the youth doesn't have a phone, it can be helpful to print the bus route out for them and/or instruct them to tell the bus driver which stop they need to be dropped off at. If their phone battery is low or dead, please allow them time to charge it before leaving your location so they can safely request help or access online resources if necessary
